We are proud to unveil our new logo, created as a tribute to the historic meander maps of the Mississippi River. Originally founded in New Orleans, with a specific eye towards water issues facing the Louisiana Gulf Coast, the Building Resilience Workshop strives to honor our roots while simultaneously sparking a conversation about resilience in all of its forms. Through our new logo we not only see beautiful design, but also a sense of constant change and adaptation. Whether addressing issues related to water, the environment, or the economy, we believe that resilience is necessary in all forms to foster a thriving community. The Mississippi River’s natural evolution, represented in the meander maps, is a perfect example of this adaptive spirit.
